Identity information has its own role.
Information used to operate an account serves a different purpose from what someone chooses to share publicly. Our blockchain integration handles account identity information as part of an architecture that also includes conventional application systems. The design distinguishes between personal account details and the profile and content through which people participate in AVATUS. We chose this approach because building a social platform also means thinking carefully about the information behind each account, not only the experience on screen.
