Unauthorized charges are a violation of our Terms of Use . AVATUS has the right to permanently close any account where unauthorized charges are applied.
The AVATUS team is committed to making your refund process as easy and seamless as possible. There are three types of refund requests:

AVATUS supports two types of AVC:
1.Gold AVC are the primary coins through which you will be able to make all the transactions on the platform. Gold AVC are convertible into fiat currency.
2.Silver AVC are coins using which will allow you to benefit from various discounts and special offers when paying for a specific product or service offered on AVATUS. Silver AVC are not convertible into fiat currency.
There are several ways to obtain Gold AVC :
1. Direct Purchase – you can buy Gold AVC through credit/debit card or PayPal
2. Virtual Gift – you may receive Gold AVC from other users in the form of a gift
3.Earnings– there are numerous opportunities to earn Gold AVC :

To purchase Gold AVC , follow 5 simple steps outlined below:
1. Go to your account
2. Visit Agora
3. Click on ‘My Wallet’
4. Click on ‘Add Funds’
5. Enter your payment details and the amount of Gold AVC you wish to purchase
6.Verify your purchase request and finalize payment
The Gold AVC will be added to your wallet immediately after the payment is finalized.
Note: You will be prompted to add credit/debit card or a PayPal accountt details only if the requested details are not available at the time of making the payment. If you have previously registered and saved your preferred payment details on the platform, that information will automatically be used for your transaction.

There are two types of Membership on AVATUS:
1. Free Membership
This membership is absolutely free. With it you can:

✓Broadcast live stream
✓Launch one free channel
2. Premium Membership
A Premium Membership offers you an opportunity to utilise AVATUS features to the full and to earn money. With it you can:
✓ Talk to the AI assistant THEA
✓Have full Avatar customization options
✓Become a Service Provider
✓Host paid public and private events
✓Create up to 5 paid channels
✓Create a campaign (Not applicable for early release)
✓Feature higher in search results
✓Get discounted and Premium Members only services and digital products in the Agora
Premium Membership requires a fee and there are three membership plans:
1.Monthly Plan - $9 per/month. Subscription Bonus of 3000 silver AVC
2. Quarterly Plan - $26 per/3 months. Subscription Bonus of 9000 silver AVC
3. Annual Plan - $81 per/year. Subscription Bonus of 27,000 silver AVC
Premium Membership can only be obtained and managed on AVATUS website: www.avatus.com
You can find all the information about your current membership plan under Menu->-Settings->-Membership
You can cancel recurring membership by turning off the Auto Renewal option under Menu->-Settings->-Membership This configuration is only available on AVATUS website: www.avatus.com
AVATUS Memberships are non-transferable. Your Premium Membership cannot be transferred to another user.
Your membership plan will automatically renew, provided that you have the “Auto Renewal” option activated. You can activate and deactivate this option under Menu->-Settings->-Membership.

You can update your payment details and credit card information through the Tilia widget that will automatically appear when you purchase or convert AVC
All payment information including credit card details is managed securely and in compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard. The transmission of all card data is encrypted, and the safe storage of this data is guaranteed through the industry best practices.
The conversion process takes between 3 and 30 days, depending on the quality of information submitted for the Tillia KYC (Know Your Customer) process. Funds are paid out via PayPal.

Tilia requires the same documentation that is generally required by the jurisdiction that the user resides in.
Name and address is required for all users. Certain US residents are required to provide a scanned copy of their Driver's License or other government-issued ID.
Non-US citizens are required to provide a scanned copy of their passport or other government-issued ID.

The information and documents required by the Tilia KYC (Know Your Customer) process is not accessible to AVATUS and is stored and managed by Tillia in compliance with safety regulations and using industry best practices.
Silver AVC cannot be converted to USD. They can be redeemed in exchange for virtual goods and services on AVATUS platform.
Once you create your Avatar, it becomes your only identity on AVATUS. Here are some examples of how to use your Avatar on the platform:
✓View and customise your Avatar for your profile page
✓Create photos and videos featuring your Avatar
✓Your profile picture by default will be that of your Avatar. It will be seen by other users on search results, chats, livestreams, your posts, comments, events, services, channels, and campaigns
Yes, no matter what device you access AVATUS from, your Avatar function will be available and unchanged. In fact, we recommend you use a PC for your Avatar creation and further customization.
However, creating content featuring your Avatar is not possible on the web browser. This feature is only available on AVATUS App, compatible with iOS and Android.
You can buy accessories for your Avatar by navigating to the Collection section available in Agora, the AVATUS marketplace. There you will find a variety of clothes and accessories that can be exchanged for AVC.
The only time when the Avatar function can be deactivated is during the video call in a chatroom. You can reveal your identity only with the consent of all the participants in this call.
A trademark infringement is the unauthorized use of a trademark in a way that is likely to cause confusion, deception, or mistake about the source of a product or service. AVATUS policies prohibit any content that infringe trademarks.
However, using another's trademark name in a way that has nothing to do with the product or service for which the trademark was granted is not considered a violation. Note that AVATUS usernames are provided on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be reserved.
You can login using your mobile number or email address instead.
AVATUS may feature content unsuitable for children under the age of 12. Also, users below the age of 18 do not have access to any monetary features without the endorsement of an adult.
A trademark can be any word, symbol, design, or a combination of these that identifies your goods or services. A trademark is acquired by a company or other entity through a legal process and it gives the owner exclusive rights to the trademark use concerning those goods.
A trademark infringement is the unauthorized use of a trademark in a way that is likely to cause confusion, deception, or mistake about the source of a product or service. AVATUS policies prohibit any content that infringes trademarks.
If you think your trademark is being infringed, keep in mind that AVATUS doesn’t mediate trademark disputes between users and trademark owners. As a result, we encourage trademark owners to communicate directly with the user in question.
If you are unable to resolve the issue, you can report the user or the content through the reporting options available on the platform.
To change your password go to your account and click on Settings.
Then follow the steps outlined below:
1. Click on Reset Password
2. Enter current password
3. Enter new password
4. Confirm password
5. Click on Save
You can reset your password by clicking on the Forgot Password option available on the Login screen. Follow the 4 simple steps below to reset your password:
1. Enter email address or phone number used during the time of registration for OTP verification
2. Enter the received OTP code for authentication
3. Enter a New Password
4. Confirm the New Password
Note:
Once your password has been updated you will need to logout from AVATUS on all your devices and login again with the new password.
To successfully complete OTP verification you need to have quick access to the email or phone number where the OTP number will be sent .
The time allowance to enter the correct OTP is 1 minute. If the time expires, you will need to resend the OTP number by clicking on the Resend button.
To deactivate your account go to your account and click on Settings. Then follow the steps outlined below:
1.Account ->- Deactivate Account
2.Select a reason for the deactivation
3.Enter your password for account verification
4.Your account will be deactivated and you will receive the confirmation message: “Your account has been successfully deactivated”.
Note: Your account will remain in deactivated state unless and until you reactivate it.
To delete your account go to your account and click on Settings.
Then follow the steps outlined below:
1. Click on Delete Account
2. Select a reason for deletion (you can choose from the reasons provided by the platform or specify your own reason)
3. Enter your Username
4. Confirm deletion through OTP verification process
Note that when you delete your account all your content and data will be lost.
To change your email go to your account and click on My Profile.
Then follow the steps outlined below:
1. Click on Edit Profile
2. Click on the pencil icon
3. Enter a new email address
4. Click on Send OTP
5. A four-digit OTP number will be sent to your new email address
6. Confirm your email change by finalising the OTP verification process
Note:
Once your email has been updated you will need to logout from AVATUS on all your devices and login again with the new email.

6. Confirm your email change by finalising the OTP verification process
Note:

No. Once submitted you cannot change your username.
To manage the notifications you receive on AVATUS go to your account. Click on Settings and then Notifications. Turn the notifications on and off as you see fit.
Best practices to keep your account safe, include:
1. Not sharing your password with anyone.
2. Changing/Updating your password every three months.
In case you feel your account has been compromised:
- Change the password and report the issue to the Admin.
- If you can’t login in order to change your password, report the issue to the admin so we can block the account until the required actions have been taken.
To report violations of the AVATUS Privacy Policy , Terms of Use and Community Guidelines , go to Contact Us form, select Violation Report and provide as much information as you can in the Description field.
Content and content creators can also be reported through the Options icon that appears next to the post.
To block/unblock any user go to their profile and tap Block/Unblock in the drop down menu (denoted by 4 dots) at the top right corner of the user profile.
To change your privacy setting go to Settings ->- Privacy Setting
You can set the account privacy as Public or Private.
Upon registration, your account appears as Public by default. This means that all registered users will be able to view all your posts and your followers list.
When you set the account privacy as public then all registered users of the platform including followers/following will be able to see yours:
✓All created posts
✓ Followers/Following list of user
✓Public wishlist items
✓ When you set the account privacy as private then only user's followers will be able to see yours:
✓All created posts
✓Followers/Following list of user
✓Public wishlist items

You can set your chat setting as:
✓Public: You will receive messages from any AVATUS user
✓Private: You will receive messages only from your followers
✓Do Not Disturb: You will not be able to receive messages from anyone
Note:
The changes in settings will only apply to users that you have not communicated with earlier.
Changes in setting will not be applicable to the existing chats. For example, if you have an ongoing chat with user X and you change your chat settings to Do Not Disturb, that user will still be able to message you unless you block them.
1. Clicking on the Sign Up icon will redirect you to a registration form where you will be asked to provide the following information:

✓Date of Birth

2. You will need to read and accept AVATUS Community Guidelines , Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
3. To confirm the validity of your email address and phone number you will need to complete the (OTP) verification process. Once your data is verified, you will be redirected to the second part of
account creation that involves:
- Creating your Username
- Creating your Avatar
- Updating your Avatar Bio (this is optional and can be updated later)
- Selecting AVATUS Domes, aka your areas of interest
Once all the steps are completed, your account will be successfully activated.

The main difference between the AVATUS App (iOS and Android) and the AVATUS Website is that the web version does not support content creation.

AVATUS is not a metaverse platform, but neither is it a traditional one. It is a sort of a cross-breed of the two digital worlds including features from both and making it the perfect choice for transcending from the old digital world to the new one.
Agora is the AVATUS Marketplace. It is a one-stop shop where you can buy or sell online services and tickets for live events, subscribe to channels, support a campaign, and get clothes and accessories for your avatar.
This is where you can either spend or earn Gold and Silver AVC and make use of your promotional coupons.
AVATUS is all about communication and the Chat function is a huge part of this.
The chats are designed to hold private one-on-one or group conversations with other AVATUS users.
All callers on the chat by default appear as Avatars, however there is a fun feature that allows participants of the call to reveal their real-world identity. This is the only place in AVATUS where such interaction is possible. Note that your identity can only be revealed after obtaining the consent of all the callers participating in a chat.
Click or tap on the reaction icon, that is THEA's Self Encoding Bot "SEB". AVATUS will display all the available reactions for your message response. From this menu, you can pick one of SEB's reactions to add as a reaction to that message. For now, AVATUS offers 8 different reactions:
1. Fire/Flame: to react to a post that it’s hot, sexy, stylish and attractive (positive reaction)
2. Skull: for a post that you find really funny (positive reaction)
3. Heart eyes and smiley face: Expressing admiration. Signifies how much you loved or liked the post (positive reaction)
4. Sad face: A neutral reaction, as it might signify your sadness to a situation presented in the content of another user or that you simply didn’t find someone’s joke funny
5. Angry face with a frowning mouth: Expressing anger, hate or rage to a post that a user has found outrageous (negative reaction)
6. Shocked expression: Indicates shock or surprise
7. Rolling eyes face: Signifies apathy, indifference or that you just found the post boring (negative reaction)
8. Green/disgusted face: Expressing disgust to a post
Once you create a public wishlist on Agora, other users will be able to view and opt to buy any of the added digital goods for you. Gifted items will be shown under Agora/My Stuff/Gifted.
- Visit the user's profile page
- Click on "View Wishlist"
- If the user has added a public wishlist, then you can view and purchase any of the digital goods listed
